Nursery’s charity is Bolton Family Action (BAND), a family mental health charity.

BAND has over 30 years’ experience of supporting people with a mental health condition. They work to improve the quality of the lives of the people they help. With co-production at the heart of all they do, they build close relationships with the people who come to BAND for help. As a result, they are able to develop services that are safe, responsive and appropriate to the people who use them. Their support recognises each person’s individual circumstance and they work in a way that builds on people’s strengths. They support people to find solutions to challenges.

This year nursery will be raising as much money as possible to help support BAND. This will be through enterprise week, cake sales and other fantastic fund raising opportunities. As a school, we have already raised a massive £248 through the school raffle that took place during our Christmas week.
