Over the duration of the rejuvenation project I will share the design and photographs as the work is started via the school notice boards and school website.
Over the course of the last two months I have worked with all of the children and staff in school, involved all of our governing body and invited parents to contribute their ideas. Drawing everyone’s ideas together has been very enjoyable and the School Council and I have worked hard to plan our learning area. We have decided as a school to call our new area—’The Clarendon Village’
The ground works team have arrived and have been excavating the land to create the pathways and work areas. The younger children have been fascinated watching them work through the fence.
As you can see from the pictures we have created a figure of 8 roadway that will have realistic markings so the children in Early Years can learn to ride their tricycles. Equally, the children in every class in school will have PSCHE lessons how to cross roads safely.
